- @cam67549 What platform you on ?
- @Shorty_WARY I’ve reset my PS5 downloaded everything again and I’ve got the same issue. Almost as if I’ve downloaded a game without owning it. But I’ve got the disc.

Boot in Safe Mode and choose Option 5, Rebuild Database; retry when that is done, thanks.
https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/hardware/safe-mode-playstation/ Hi. I’m a NA region (USA) player with EA PlayPro subscription, recently switched to EA Desktop from Origin launcher.
EA Desktop does NOT list my Battlefield 2042 in collections NOR does it Add or Download. Any help would be appreciated.
Origin launcher launched my Battlefield 2042 fine but with EA discontinuing Origin, I was forced to switch to EA Desktop launcher. EA Desktop won’t let me add to collection, download or even recognize I own the game (Battlefield 2042)
please help
Hi. I’m a NA region (USA) player with EA PlayPro subscription, recently switched to EA Desktop from Origin launcher.

I'm also a NA region (Hawaii) player with EA Play subscription. I've been happily using Origin for years but now that EA has disabled it I am stuck with the broken EA app.
The EA app does not recognize either Battlefield V or Battlefield 1 as being in My Collection despite having installed them via Origin. This was not a problem with Battlefield 2042 and others. I happily played BFV via Origin just yesterday.
Attempts to add BFV or BF1 to My Collection via the EA app fail. It steps through the usual "Stomping grapes ..." monologue but fails without further comment. Obviously, attempting to download either of these fails as well ("There's a problem with your download").
Attempts to fire up BFV or BF1 directly (e.g. bfv.exe) endeavors to launch the EA app which fails without comment. But if the EA app is already running the error is "You don't have access", suggesting that another user owns the game. Note that I am the only user on this machine and do indeed own the game.
The Origin app should be reenabled until this is fixed. It is unconscionable that EA disabled it knowing that the replacement app was broken: Games-missing-from-EA-App-library-but-available-in-Origin

sure it is. but when you start origin you are forced to uppdate 2 the EA app
Thanks for the reply. As of Dec07 or Dec08 the Origin app looks like the attached. It is prevented from working; I can't figure out how to remove the cover and happily use Origin as before. Thus the irritation for many of us. It seems rash to have disabled Origin when EA app is broken for so many. We'll be owed refunds if this isn't remedied quickly.
I'm on Win11.
