32Bit Games on 64Bit MacOS?

Hey everyone,

I am really sad, because just now I wanted to install Plants vs. Zombies on my MacBook Air M3, but in the EA App it's grey and says "Available for Windows". Is there any way (except virtual machines) to play these old 32Bit games on a new 64Bit Mac? I switched from Win to Mac and would rather not keep my annoying Win Laptop just for this old game :/

Thanks in advance

  • @MacloudConnor  No, your version of macOS doesn't run 32-bit apps at all, whether they have a Mac version or not.  So the only current way to play is with a setup like Parallels.  Perhaps Apple will reintroduce Bootcamp for ARM Macs soon, at which point that would be a viable option as well.
