All game packs gone

Hoping someone on here can give me some guidance with a frustrating issue with my Sims 4 add-on content. I purchased multiple packs—including some as recently as last night (June 30, 2025)—and was able to successfully install and play them for several hours. However, by the following morning, the add-ons had disappeared from my EA account and game library. Even the ones I purchased in 2024 are gone.

I have taken the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:

Verified system compatibility and software updates. installed and reinstalled both the EA App and the Sims 4 game. Cleared the EA App cache. Updated my display drivers. Repaired the Sims 4 installation. Rebooted my PC multiple times. Checked file locations, and I can confirm all the game content (including the packs) still exists on my system and I can see the purchases on my banking. No other accounts used.

Despite all of this, the content remains inaccessible through the EA App. I also noticed that I did not receive confirmation emails with any redemption codes for any of my purchases—both recent and from October 2024 and that they were automatically downloaded onto the app, and I have no other accounts used on EA app. I’ve already spoken with three different support agents today without resolution, and I was advised to contact my bank for transaction records and then return here with that information. Which I did and then last person I spoke with said they can't use that info.

Any help?

So it's a mix of free kits and paid packs that are missing.

If you can't see the purchases in the customer portal, can't find them in the EA app, Support can't see them on the account, and you can't find any e-mails regarding the purchases, then you must've bought the packs for a different account. Unfortunately, I can't help you find that account - support is the best contact option here, though I would recommend you try and find some more details regarding said account first, so they can be used to find and access the account through support.

    Hello bealaa2017,

could Support tell you if the packs are on your account?

If not, then you most likely bought them through a different EA account, which would also explain why you haven't gotten any confirmation e-mails for purchases. I'd try and see if you can find other login data for an old EA account that you might own, where you might have purchased the packs on.

    Hi EA_Pythia

Thank you for responding. Support have said that they are not on my account. I can only see Packs prior to the 2024 purchase. While talking with them, I gave them the only other email that I've ever had (but never use it on my EA account) and they have said there is nothing with that email. There has been no other use of my account.

I have all the transaction approval numbers from my bank, but I have never received any confirmation email, or any sort of email from @ea.com in my emails after searching right back.

Did you ever have a platform account linked to that EA account or have a game code, that you'd previously redeemed on there, lying around somewhere? If you have either of those, you could potentially contact Support again and ask them to find the account through that.

If you can't find any confirmation e-mails anywhere, then the account has to be linked to a different e-mail.

Without any details that are connected to the account, such as the options mentioned above, it's not possible for Support to help you find the account again. We don't have access to account information here in the forum and can therefore not help with these issues ourselves.

I have searched all through my emails, right back to when I started to play, and even tried to search Origin. But nothing. I am the only one who uses my computer, and I have no other account. There is also other DLC that were free that I have downloaded still on there.

All the files are on my Windows folder as well, and I can see all the timing of the download process. I have spoken to so many people on the Support, and they keep telling me to clear the cache and give them an invoice number. Which I don't have because I have not received any emails. The last person directed me here because this is to escalate the issue. Would I have received an email for downloading the free DLC's? There are mods on my game, could these have impacted it this? Or when I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver?

Can you see the purchases in the customer portal?

Was the money taken from your bank account?

You just said "free packs" - were the packs that you got ones that you actually bought or that you got for free? And if you got them for free, from where did you get them?

Mods can't cause an issue like this - they can affect things in the game and at the most in the EA app, but if Support can't even see them on the account, that has nothing to do with mods. Neither would reinstalling the drivers.

They were just free kits on the EA app, for example the festive kit.

The monay was take' from my account, and I have all the codes from the bank to prove that my payment went out and went to EA games for those exact amounts as well as the individual transaction approval codes.

All my games are there that I played with the new expansion packs, but it is telling me to buy them again. I just never received any confirmation email from EA.com after purchasing so I don't know how else to prove it. And all downloaded files are on my PC with the correct codes.
