I specifically set the language to english. I restart the app some time later and its set to german again. I live in germany but want the app to be in english. Why even offer the option to select the desired language when it sets the language it wants?

I have my EA App set to EnglishHowever, every time I restart my computer, the language changes to Brazilian Portuguese. Every single time. It's driving me nuts!How do I stop it from switching languages every time I boot up my computer again? I want it to be permanently in English, but it just keeps switching back to Portuguese. It's very inconvenient.

EA App keeps changing settings to default ones, the most annoying one being constantly resetting the client's language to my system's language (Italian), when I'd like to have everything in English. In-game overlay is re-enabled automatically, too. But that one is a minor issue for me. Back to languages, there is an annoying issue with localization of EA App into Italian (it's one of the main reasons why I'm so passionate about using the App in English): I keep logging out when I just want to quit EA App for the time being. In fact, The two options, on the right side of taskbar of Windows, are called "Esci", and "Uscita", which is basically the same, so I'm always confused. "Logout" also exists in Italian, with the exact same meaning it has in English: please, use this term instead. So there is a clear distinction between the 2 options. Thank you

Every now and then the app restarts with different language then the one I set. Seems like it reverts to the language of the area I am in, but I want to keep English language as a default one. Luckily it didn't change to the language with completely different writing system or I would've more problems with changing the language back.

Hi all, Please try clearing the cache for the EA app using these steps. App now changed its behavior to half english, half my operating system language. It also randomly resets the setting where I moved the app to on my screen.
Why are we supposed to clear the cache? If its such a problem, make the app clear the cache after some time on a regular basis. This would automatically prevent such issues if its caused by the cache. Thats basic common sense.

@sternenatem "closing (left menu with "exit") and starting the app two times and the language is back to system default" yes thats exactly the way the app behaves. clearing the cache does nothing

I'm having the same issue, every time I log back in to EA App, the language keeps reverting back to Filipino. I have to constantly change it to English every time I want to use it. Is there a way to save the settings and leave the language in the application stay in English or is this some sort of bug? TIA
