Backup file on ea desktop

Question

I have backup file for mass effect game and i want to restore that file in ea desktop how do i restore the game on ea dekstop?

So that is not a feature in EA Desktop? This used to work in Origin.

No thanks uninstalling EA Desktop. I'll rebuy games if I want to play them on steam sales. Not playing EA games anymore anyway.

Hi&nbsp;@Silumanbuaya,

It would kind of depend on how you backed up the game.

In general I would suggest unpacking the files in a folder, then launch the EA app and click on download for Mass Effect.&nbsp;

Then you set the folder to the folder where the files are for Mass Effect.&nbsp;

If that doesn't work, then you'll have to download and install the game again through the EA app.&nbsp;

@Screamer-RSA Back and restore seems like such a basic feature of any launcher, the trash EA desktop cannot even do that in 2023.
