Battlefield 2042 Will not Launch Through Steam

Hello all,

I am having the issue where the game has stopped launching through steam after playing without issue before.

So far I have:

1: reinstalled game

2: set the game to run as administrator 

3: tried launching game through EA app when the EA app was started as an administrator

4: deleted all battlefield 2042 and EA registry files

Are there any suggestions on what to do next? The only information I can give is that when I attempt to launch the EA app will sometimes say: connection failed. Attached is a picture of the error. 

Additionally the EA app will flash in my task bar until the play button turns green on Steam.
