Battlefield V not Launching

I haven't played Battlefield V for a little while but now when I try to play it on EA desktop or with Xbox Game Pass, Battlefield V will not load. What happens is EA desktop app gets restarted and the doesn't load the game

    Hey @Mickybhoy246,

    It could be that we're talking about two different issues here:
    - The EA app refusing to launch BFV, or..
    - Battlefield V refusing to launch all together

    When you try to launch BFV via the EA app, what does it do exactly? Can you try to describe the behaviour of the app and maybe include a screenshot (or video) of what you're seeing?

    Here is a photo of the problem. What happens it ea loads the game but the game doesn't open

    @Mickybhoy246, alright, and you also don't see the BFV icon in the taskbar when attempting to launch the game via the EA app?

    No. I do not see it in the taskbar but I do see it for a second on Task Manager.

    @Mickybhoy246, gotcha. And have you tried to repair the game already via the EA app?
    You can do this by clicking on the 3 dots on the game tile of the game and choosing Repair.

    Battlefield V, the play button is not highlighted color blue. When I click on it the game will not open. 

    I have Battlefield 4 and the play button is highlighted blue. when I click on the play button the game stars playing. 

    What cases the play button on Battlefield V not highlighted blue and why will it not open the game?

    How exactly do you own the game?
    - Is this via a standalone purchase via us, or a 3rd party code,
    - Via Steam/Epic,
    - Via EA Play via us,
    - Via EA Play via Steam,
    - Or via EA Play x Xbox Game Pass?
