BFV won't launch/EA app refusing to connect

Question

I attempted to download BFV through game pass, i was met with repeated download crashes, failures, and reverts, eventually got download finished for it to start over completely from 0gb. Allowed all apps through firewall, verified drivers up to date, restored all app files, redownloaded EA app, still nothing. Bought BFV on steam hoping to avoid EA app issues, however ea app connection issues still causing instantaneous crashing of BFV, cannot even get the game to start to boot up, all apps are being run as admin as well. Any help would be appreciated here.

@lyfealurtboii Were you met with the same download problems while downloading via steam?If not, then it's clearly a problem with the EA app and you shoulf confront the support at https://help.ea.com/

It is definitely the EA app I was forced to download it when launching Battlefield V from steam and the link2ea app pops up then closes immediatly then I get An error on our end caused the launch to fail . I cant open the game at all&nbsp; . If I try and run the exe file as administrator it says I dont own the title . But I bought it last year on steam .&nbsp;
