Hello. I'm very sorry to say, Windows 7 is not officially supported so we can't offer any help for it.

If you’re responding to me, I don’t use Windows 7. I’m on Steam Deck and I’m having the error codes I previously mentioned (INST-21-25005, and INST-14-1627) and I was able to previously install Mass Effect Andromeda with no issues, The Sims 4 as well, and all of a sudden after an uninstall, Mass Effect Andromeda won’t run via Steam because the EA App is failing at installation. It looks like others have the exact same issue as well so it is not exclusive to me or the Steam Deck.

that’s odd because it worked a few weeks ago.

Same situation. my Win7 PC is my main workstation. luckily i have an extra Win10 PC and the EA still works (even after an update). Tried copying the EA app from that pc to my Win7 pc - still doesnt work. Plus my Win7 pc can't take the Win10/11 upgrade. Hope you find a solution too.

There is an issue you could help with: refunding games to Windows 7 and Windows 8 users who previously paid for and purchased them, but can no longer play them due to their operating systems. Because if they can’t play them, they are essentially meaningless. And the users are not at fault here at all. This situation is entirely caused by a mistake on EA’s part. This is a mistake because other digital game platforms do not do this. As I mentioned in my previous message, as a Windows 7 user, I am currently able to use those platforms without any problems.

I am in the exact same boat. This needs to be fixed in some way or another 👎
