I can't purchase any Sims 4 packages during the mid-summer sale - I can only buy the bundles that are prepared in advance by EA. The app says that there is a problem updating the cart. I contacted the live chat, and they said that it is known (no solutions) - but so is the sale.
They told me all kinds of solutions on my end, even tho I repeatedly said to them that it is a completely technical problem with their EA app. They keep repeating that I need to change my payment method or contact the bank, but they don't understand that it is impossible to add to the cart at all, and the cart is empty. I can only pay for what is not on the so-called discount or for their pre-made bundles

Community ManagerHey mayao101 best thing to do is to remove your payment option and then re-add it ensuring that all the info is exactly the same as on file by your card issuer.

EA_Darko Hi- As I mentioned in the post, I have no problem paying because I don't even get to that screen. It's impossible to add to the cart at all. When you try to add a package to the cart, a pop-up appears from the cart icon saying there was a problem updating the cart. However, when I clicked on a pre-made bundle created for the sale, it was added to my cart.
