Cannot Buy Games on the EA app anymore

I have encountered a bug wherein I cannot seem to buy games or another DLC on the EA app anymore. I was trying to buy FC25 and as soon as I reach the page for payment, the app shows that they "Cannot Connect to the servers, we ran into a problem and a quick restart should fix it". I have a stable internet connection and I have tried restarting the app multiple times. I have tried clearing cache, logging out and logging in and I have tried logging in on another device. It would be a great help if someone could me out with this please
