I am a Chinese player and I have found that I am unable to turn off or enable the in-game interface. Others can freely turn it on or off, but I can only force it on.

Just reinstalled Windows 11 Pro (factory ISO), installed the EA app from Official website and the option to turn off the in-game overlay is greyed out.
Please fix.

I had the same issue. I found out that you have to be 'online' in order to disable it. Then you can switch to invisible afterwards.
At least that's what worked for me.

I cannot disable my in-game overlay pls helppp
I was playing Battlefront 2 when this was causing this issue and i couldn't turn it off, so i closed the game and it let me disable the overlay.
If anyone can't disable it, you might have to leave the game first before you try disabling the overlay. Worked for me.
