Sims4 is stuck on preparing to download. I had to uninstall entirely from my pc. But now it won't reinstall. I obvi meet the requirements Ive been playing on my pc for weeks now.
im just replying to the last comment so i can put this. but my partner hasnt been able to download sims since the growing together expansion pack came out, he repaired the game, cleared the cache, tried to download into a different folder nothing has worked. he only uninstalled sims because it kept crashing everytime he booted it up after doing the update (which took over 8 hours to download in the first place which is a ridiculous time for an update), like it wouldnt even get to the start screen of sims before it would crash and shut the app down. he hasnt been able to download the sims since the growing together expansion pack has come out and he tries daily to get it to work as he enjoys playing it. he is autistic so these types of games are perfect for him but he cant even use it. he has spent well over £300 on the expansion packs and stuff packs (he has 65 add-ons for the game that he cant use). now when he tries to download it prepares for around 10 minutes and then pops up with a trouble on their end, try again in a few minutes he does that and its still the same pop-up message that comes up. i have written a report to ea once and i've even got his mum to write a report because its becoming frustrating, for me because its me that has to deal with the meltdown because its not working and hasnt been working SINCE BLOODY MARCH!!!!
