can't download the sims 4, stuck on "preparing".

I'm downloading sims with my windows 11 with ea and it was stuck on preparing for around 5 hours now its  been stuck on 0%  for 2 hours . I'm not sure what to do

    @ashxraex i have windows 11 too! my base game did miraculously download after two days of trying, but I am still waiting on my expansion packs
