Can't play with my friend via EA Desktop

Summarize your bug My friendlist doesn't work. Its normal on Origin but not on EA Desktop.

I can't see my friend. I have linked my account using the same from Origin and can't see my friend and neither search/add. And my internet is fine.

Summarize your bug Cannot Invite other friends that are using the EA Desktop application to play ME:A / ME:3 Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? With 2 people on separate EA desktop accounts, play mass effect andromeda or mass effect 3 and try to invite each other to a game,
What happens when the bug occurs? The invite menu will appear and you can send and invite, but you cannot see or accept and incoming invites.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a join button, or an invite to the game I have just been invited to so that I may join my friend.

It seems like anyone with Origin can join BTW, but no game invites appeared when I was invited by a friend using EA Desktop, and I am using EA Desktop.

I've recently upgraded from xbox to PC and have carried over xbox games pass ultimate to have access to EA play games. Unfortunately when playing a game such as titanfall 2 or star wars battlefield 2, I cannot add friends who are playing the game through origin. Is there a fix for this, as I don't want to he paying for EA play twice on 2 separate clients.

I see this happen from time to time on Origin, but not many reports appeared for the EA app. 

The general workaround is to double check the privacy settings on both accounts, making sure that you both have logged into the EA app (you can't find each other if you haven't logged in yet), and you can try to find each other using the e-mail address. 

Let me know if this help, I am curious to see what the solution is. If it is not the solution, then there is one more thing that I would like to try, but please first try the above. 

I have a PC

My friend has an Xbox One

We are friends via the Xbox App

But we cannot find each other or sync friends via the EA app- Which is what launches Battlefront 2

It does not work if attempted through Origin, I sent a request there, He could not receive it

It does not work to change EA privacy settings

It does not work to run as an administrator, or look for the "Msconfig" processes that were causes issues in another thread.

It does not work in-game to search for eachother

It does not work through the xbox app to attempt to join his game or him join mine

- When I try to join his, Microsoft asks me which app to perform the action with- None available or selectable

-When he tried to join mine the option never highlighted to do so

In summation I think it clearly states;

Just to clarify, you want to play Battlefront II with you both playing on PC with your friend and you can't find each other?

Have you both logged into the EA app and did you add each other as a friend by using the EA username or mail address on the EA account?

Okay. Read my post a few more times.

No, He is on Xbox One. I am on PC

Yes. We tried that, we’re not blind. 

Tried adding on EA App and it will not sync Xbox friends.

Tried adding on the other app that is associated with EA app.

Cannot see/ add each other on any of them. 
We adjusted privacy settings on everything.

Tried running EA app as administrator, nothing.

Cannot add/ find him in game.

Cannot join lobbies through Xbox app on friends list where it says Join Game, Invite to game, etc etc. (Because game must be launched via EA app, not Xbox games pass)

I have tried all the methods posted in other forums/ this forum. To no avail.
