Can't uninstall Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition

I downloaded the game by the ea desktop, using ea play subscription that comes with xbox gamepass. But i wanted to unistall the game, and the awakening folder wasn't deleted with the base game, i tried to manually delete the folder but it shows a message saying that i need to have administrator permission to delete. How can i completely delete the game of my pc ?

Well, I found out what was the problem for me. If you look in the task manager/details there's a background EA application running. If you finish that task you will be able to remove the remaining Dragon Age folders from your drive. Take care.

    Hi @richardsky8,

When you have EA Desktop open, then you can go to your Collection, press on the 3 dots on the tile of Dragon Age and select Uninstall to uninstall the game.

Could you give it a go and let me know if you can uninstall the game that way?

For the admin permissions, make sure that you are logged in with your Administrator account for Windows.

  • seguí los pasos indicados en la respuesta y aún no se desinstala el juego.que más puedo hacer?

    Google Translate:

I followed the steps in the answer and the game still does not uninstall. what else can I do?

EDIT by EA_Jason: Added Google Translate.

Which game can you not uninstall @ConicalDig1899?

Please keep in mind that the language on the English forums is in English. You can always use a tool like Google Translate to translate your message to English.

  • Same for me here. I tried to uninstall DA: Origins using the three buttons uninstall option on EA desktop to no avail. The game is still in my SSD folder named Dragon Age. I'm trying to remove it manually but it asks for administrator permissions. I'm administrator but I can get rid of the almost 6GB folder. Any solution? Thanks!
