My EA app keeps crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and restarted everything. Every time it crashes, it takes the game I'm playing with it so I keep having to restart at the same spot, please help. CM edit: edited title for clarity.

Well customer support will try their very best to push the issue so that its the customer's fault so they don't have to do anything,But i said in my other posts which you responded to, i could play the game for about 45 minutes before it started crashing again. So really, i don't have much to say with the exception that i am extremely disappointed .Good luck to everyone , i hope you all get the use and satisfaction and pleasure from the games and services you have paid for and not the blame....

I'm on windows 10, and I went and deleted all my MODs and the app and installed everything. I reinstalled the app and the game with no mods, and it's still happening. And when I can get the game up and running it wont let me interact with any other NPC's, I'm getting beyond frustrated.

I have this issue too. I deleted the APP and reinstalled it, same thing. It has been two days now since EA made me update the APP whereupon it started crashing.There is no option to not update.It was working fine before. I hope they fix it before the weekend so i can play the games i paid for.

I have run manually the EAUpdater.exe.After that update the APP starts as usual.

It's not the Anti Virus, just tested. It's still crashing.
The App doesn't start at all, I just get the window with the error message that it crashed so I can't do a repair.

I have run manually the EAUpdater.exe.

I tried your suggestion - running the eaupdater.exe manually - located at C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
It opened at DOS box and downloaded and updated, i restarted my PC and the same thing happened - APP crashed

Have you tried the other exe files within this folder?
Before I manually updated, I opened the EA_launcher or any other EA***** file, I don'r remember what file it was, but then the laucher started....

It really did update but it still crashes. Maybe it has sth to do with my old computer. It still runs on Windows 7 ^^' and there is no support anymore.

These steps should help:

Download and install all available Windows Updates

Turn off the EA app overlay via the three bar menu at top left, Settings, Application, In-game overlay

@NyxMacabre I had this happen too for a while, but it luckily didn't crash the game too.
But after the last update the app crashes when I start it so I can't even play my games anymore.
Do you have an older computer? I still play on a Windows 7 pc and microsoft stopped the support. Maybe that's the reason?

I am running win 7 64 bit but that shouldn,t be the issue, i,ve been playing this game since Origin on this PC, last week it worked fine. But you never know :/
