Change the game directory
I installed the game once before and I wanted to transfer the game directory, but after the transfer it said: "This game may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game, l...
@Shiina_Dev What @IKobi_Blade said is accurate. Just to provide more info. When you install to a directory, if you have that app and that game on two separate locations, they generally don't see that they are there because the app looks in the installed directly. This is why players who have multiple drives have issues like this.
The easiest thing IMO is just to uninstall it, clear out the directory, or Windows temp files, and do a reinstall of both on the same default location.
OR, for example. I have an SSD for Windows and an HDD and an external SSD for games. When I install a game through the EA App and Steam, I just change the Drive letter as it will default to the same directory, just on the drive you want.
