Same thing here. Just tried to launch Titanfall 2 and got this error, other games were working fine before.
It's clear EA doesn't care
I'm getting the same problem with every game I try to play through EA Desktop. This is through having EA Play via Xbox Game Pass. Regardless of whether I try to play the game through the Xbox app or the EA app it's the same problem. Nothing fixes it.
I'm having the same issues. I tries Origin aswell as EA play, but none of em work, they say I don't have a connection. I tried Jedi Fallen order and other games too, butI can't play them.
Downloading the game works just fine, but after that it just says I'm offline....weird huh, since you can log in and all, see friends, download games.....
Same problem with Mass Effect LE. Spent my sleeping hours downloading it (slow connection), tried everything I've read online to fix it, getting same message.
There needs to be a way to 'verify intergrity of game files' like steam has.Im also seeing the same problem.
I'm getting the same issue with Dragon Age 2, able to play Dragon Age: Origins with no problem.
EDIT: So, I downloaded Dragon Age Inquisition and that started with no problems. Went back to Dragon Age 2 and game starts. Somehow the issue got resolved.
EA and Respawn suck and they are never on top of their products so its likely often incompatible with any windows update or driver update. What will likely fix your issue is to go to windows search bar, type "Recovery" and then click "Open System Restore", then choose a restore point before your issue started, if you don't have one, my best guess is you have to reinstall windows but don't install the newest windows cumulative update "2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems (KB5010793)" and or the newest network adapter driver though i suspect its the windows update that is the issue. Respawn and EA are asleep at the wheel and collecting our money, company is ran by total losers.
The problem now seems to have resolved itself. I would warn you away from giving incorrect technical advice in the future. An OS restore is never going to help with problems like these, you just sound like you don't know what you're talking about!

Hey everyone,
There was indeed a bug that caused this error message in both Origin and the EA app.
We have resolved the issue and it should no longer be occurring. If it does, then please reboot your PC and try again.
