I was having this problem I decided to reinstall windows and that has worked
I'm having this problem with DA: origins - I originally bought the game on Steam way back when it was available there. Not sure if there is a way to upgrade my copy to the newer version for free, but if that solves the issue then I'm all for it. Rebooted, reinstalled, repaired, reinstalled windows.... nothing is working. Going to try installing origins and see if that helps. Before I started getting this error message I was getting the error message that DLL was missing.
very frustrating.- @Elsworth12 Nevermind - Origins is no longer available.
Same dude and the best part is that im playing on GeForce Now and i can't do things such as going to file manager etc.... i think that game will just be in my library doing nothing now, great job EA you have successfully looted off a customer!
Had the same double check connection thing. Went to find the .exe and opened as admin so yeah that works as well for me.. for now...
- @xMAGNAxTANK117 I also have this problem with Apex Legends, did this problem work out for you, and how long did it take?
I also just started getting this with Apex today. Going through all the solutions but nothing's working so far.
Same for me on apex legends. ive tried restarting my pc, updating windows, reinstalling ea and apex and still comes up with the same error message.
did you ever get this fixed? Im just gettting to the new jedi game and am also getting this error. Thanks
Doesn't seem to be a fix yet. At least on my part. The games used to work fine when I was on Windows 10. I upgraded to 11 and still was able to play BF1 BF4 and BF5. Decided to download Titanfall 2 again to play on W11 but to my srprise the error started appearing on all games that previously worked after trying to play Titanfall 2. I am trying to reach support but I don't think it will be very helpful. ☹️
