I tried that too, but i couldnt do anything in Origin since it forced me to download EA App, how did you work around that?
i just downloaded the origin on this site : https://origin.onl/download/
and after i installed, i downloaded the bf4 without problems.
to open bf4, i put to donwload the bf4 on EA APP(on the same folder), and worked
UPDATE : after i open bf4 and close, the EA APP deleted the game ☹️
UPDATE 2 : still the play button is enabled, i managed to open again
i figure out the problem is only download the game, if you have a backup, you can play on EA APP putting the backup on bf4 folder
