Hi There,
Not sure if any of you are having the same issue; but since Jan 23, 2023, I've been unable to load any of my games on the EA app (in fact the app has never worked) on my Windows 10 PC. The Origin app always functioned properly. I can see all of my games in my library, however, when I click on the game, all I get is a blank screen, meaning I can't launch the app.
I've tried:
Uninstalling - reinstalling the app
Running the app as administrator, clearing cache
Going to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\EA: changing properties of the to run as administrator, reset the app recovery.
Clean booting: System Configuration: Hiding all Microsoft services, disabling all non-Microsoft services, disabling all startup apps that were non-essential to startup. Still no luck.
The closest I have go so far is going to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc and repairing/installing all the VC redist files from Oldest to Newest, this enables the game to be seen in the app, but not recognised by the library. I do have the option to Download, but the game never leaves pending status.
Have contacted support but they have been unable to help; just wondering if anybody else is experiencing the same or knows of a fix to help,
Cheers,
Josh
(CM edit - moved to EA App for visibility)
Yes, 2 weeks on from your comment and I am having the same issues. On my first launch of the EA app I was able to update TS4 no problems but didn't have time to try to run it. Now I can't even see it in my library, just a blank tile. Furious to say the least that since the Origin takeover I haven't been able to access content that I've paid an arm and a leg for. Seems like EA are leaving loads of us in this situation.

Ea keeps telling me there's no entitlments in order to play public for grind legends. How do I add them or get them and what are they? Please advise
