2 years later... I have this same problem, but on a Windows Computer, when i try to run a game it does not work, it opens the EA App and a disappointing "We couldn't connect to servers, we ran into a problem but a quick restart to should fix it" shows up. And a quick restart has not fixed it, a quick command prompt DNS Flush hasn't fixed it, a clean uninstall of the whole program and reinstall hasn't fixed it, trying to bypass the whole program and launcher, hasn't fixed it, and even going on another Windows Version, hasn't fixed it. Clearing the cache manually and within the launcher hasn't fixed it, multiple router resets have not fixed it and going on an ethernet connection hasn't fixed it, forgot to add, I've updated my bios too... This is an embarrassment, a multi billion dollar company can't at least go out of their way to manufacture a working launcher, with a pleasing experience and little to no bugs. This thread has been open for 2 years, and for 2 years the management team still don't have a proper solution. The generic "Clear the Cache" has been circling around this topic like a shark waiting for it's new meal to come, if it was REALLY the solution I would not be going out of my way to type this exaggeratingly long reply for EA Forum standards.
