I tried this config today and played for 4 hours in a party without any crashes, I've never had that before... It's still too early to say if it's the definitive solution, but it might be. I'll continue testing tomorrow. (Sorry for language mistakes)
been having the same issue, had 1 full game then cant even get into a match, app crashes and forces BF6 to also close, maybe find a crack to run bf6 without the app since the last time they updated the app was when they changed it from origin to ea apps,
So I think I may have found a fix, requiring you to download the ea app.exe do not uninstall the app, click on the ex file and you'll be prompted to install or repair, click repair, this will update the app and repair it, also have the app closed load up and you'll play again
been having same issue, EADesktop.exe keeps crashing to desktop without any error message, tried repair, clear cache, uninstall, reinstall nothing helped. Even reformatted the PC, installed from new everything, it ran well for a while, after sometime it started crashing again. POS EA, get better else you are losing players, even buying Play Pro subscription it is useless
Right click ea app, go to file location, find the install file (easier to download it or if you know where it is) double click to install, choose repair, let it run its thing (will update the app) also apply and repair the program, 100% works
No need to uninstall, no need to format hard drive, or reinstall windows, it has happened to me a few times over the years and remembered how to fix it,
