EDIT: Possible fix [for my case anyhow - hopefully may provide a hint to others]
I spotted an 'allow daughter processes' option (For EALauncher.exe] in Tiny Firewall, enabled it and now EA App seems to be working.
Whether that actually fixed it, idk because disabling the FW entirely didn't help before, nor did allowing firewall access to each EA*.exe individually, plus I've tried 300 other things.
Perhaps there were several issues.
Bottom line - double check advanced firewall settings, maybe you'll spot something similar.
Also having the same problem. Internet connection is fine for everything else expect the EA app.
I've allowed the EA app as an exception for Avast as well as my firewall.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing seems to be working.
Not sure what else to try at this point.
@trangkhoactgI've found a "crutch" solution using proxy/vpn. I' ve used proton vpn(Netherlands) for app initialization, now seems to work fine.
UPD: no need to use vpn for each launch.

Why EA App is so trash, i mean did u not use is in a Pre- Alpha / Alpha / Beta Stages ... then you release it ........ oh ... ur EA ...... Battlefield 2042 ..... nevermind
