EA app doesn't want to work properly

My sims 4 game loads like normal but always crashes within the first minuet of the game loading with the app saying something went wrong on their side. I've repaired the game, uninstalled both the sims game and EA app and have cleared its cache numerous times and nothing has worked. When I use the App to report the problem it always comes up with error, something went wrong so I cant even file a report and the AI bot on the website just keeps giving me articles and not actually giving me genuine customer support. I've bought over £50 worth of add on for the sims and would like my game to load. is there anyway to fix my problem or report it to EA without using the app? i feel like I'm going in circles trying to find someone to help me and would really appreciate some advice.
