ea app doesn't work on Mac

I have upgraded to ea and it doesn't have an App Store or even a game hub on the app to find games I try using orgin but won't let me do anything cause I need to update to ea and I got ea play to play Alice madness returns but it won't let me play without buying ea play again I've bought it twice now once through steam and another. through the ea website I'm starting to get frustrated cause nothing will work and I don't get it

  • Hi @leonadragon0569,

It looks like you're mentioning a few issues in one long sentence, which makes it a bit difficult to understand everything clearly. However, I'll try to address your points as best as I can.

    1. No App Store or Game Hub: The EA app doesn't have an App Store or Game Hub. This is intentional. Currently, only The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 can be purchased on the EA app for Mac, and these games are highlighted in the Home section.

    2. Problems with Origin: You can't use Origin to access your games because it prompts you to update to the EA app. This is also intentional. Users with supported Mac/macOS systems are being migrated to the EA app for Mac. For more information, you can refer to this announcement post: [ANNOUNCEMENT] The EA app for Mac has arrived!.

    3. EA Play Subscription for "Alice: Madness Returns":
      1. EA Play is not available for Mac, only for Windows PC, Steam for Windows PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.

      2. "Alice: Madness Returns" is not available for Mac in general. You can check the availability details at https://www.ea.com/games/alice/alice-madness-returns.

I hope this helps clarify things!
