Summarize your bug I have to type my password every time I start EA App
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? start the EA App type password and choose save password. Next time log in or next day you have to log in again
What happens when the bug occurs? It does not remember the password, I have to type my password every time I start EA App
What do you expect to see? It remember the saved login details, like every other game launcher!
It is ridiculous that in 2023 this game launcher still cannot save login information. This has forced me and others to stop buying games from EA and buy them on the steam app which remembers login information

I am having the same problem. It consistently forgets not just the password but the e-mail as well! This is either really sad or intentional. The first reboot it started on startup and worked. I turned off start on boot and now it forgets every time. Seems like forced coercion to make people run it all the time.
Up side, if you kill EA through the task manager instead of the taskbar icon, you can open it back up and it auto logs in. Seems the taskbar icon is the problem here.
Community Manager@gaming_ogre It isn't intentional. It should save your login. There are no open issues on this and I myself have tested this multiple different ways to try to reproduce it and I am not able to which typically means it is more local to the PC it is being downloaded on. It can happen to multiple players without it being a bug with the app. This can be a list of things that cause this to happen.
Can you please do one or both of the following for me?
1. Uninstall the App - download the App from the site here and right-click the install file and run as admin.
2. Righ-click the EA App icon or exe file and go to properties - Compatibility - check the box to run as Admin
Then reboot the PC and try again and see if it saves the login info.
I did everything you said and this still isn't working.
