I don't know how else to post a message not directed at anyone, but I've been at this for like 5 hours at least. I have tried practically every solution that people have suggested, and all of the suggestions EA support has given as well. Nothing has worked. I repeat, nothing has worked.
My drivers are all updated, I repaired my computer with that third party app someone recommended, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of those C++ programs. Nothing has worked. For the love of god, just fix the application. As the consumers, we shouldn't have to go through like 10 troubleshooting methods to get something to work.
Your EA support staff haven't been the best either; on chat, all I've been told is that "you're working on it". But if that's the case, why has it been literal months with no fix? When I tried to bring the case up again, I'm told it's an issue with installing the Sims 4, which I've repeated emphasized that yes, while that is a problem, I can't even launch this stupid app in the first place, so fix that first please! The last thing I have to do is just factory reset my computer, which I don't want to, nor should I have to, for an application to work.
Please just bring Origin back. I know the forum and support employees have no say on whether it comes back, but like, come on.
Someone tag me if they ever actually fix this, and not in a "oh this solution might work' kind of way. Fix what you broke, EA.
