EA App installation, "Something Went Wrong" error

Every time I try to install it, it gives me this screen

    I had the same issue and the following worked for me: I checked all the "Microsoft Visual C++..." under "Apps"  and choosed "Repair" where it was available. I restarted my computer and then the installation went just fine.

@ovie2  Pardon? Who is talking about Steam or Win7? I don't work for EA or this forum. 🙂 I'm just a gamer like you.
