EA App is closing itself automatically
Hello everyone,
Until yesterday I did not have any problem with EA App while I am playing EAFC26. Starting from today, when I open the game and start playing, after a couple of minutes the game forces me to exit saying that "EAFC26 is closed because EA APP is being closed". This is something happens out of my control and I tried every method. When I checked the settings from Windows to open EAAntiCheat automatically, it didn't allow me by giving me the message of "Error 87".
- I deleted EA App and reinstalled it.
- I tried deleting the cache.
- I restarted the computer after closing everything.
I just wonder is it only me or is there a general problem? Only from today I start having this problem and I cannot play the game.
Hi, thanks for letting us know which steps you’ve already tried. Let’s try the following next:
- Change the User Account Control (UAC) settings in Windows, turn it fully off for testing, and see whether that makes any difference
- Putting your PC into a Clean Boot and then launching the game
- If you use third-party antivirus software, temporarily disable it. If you’re using Windows Defender, try turning it off for testing or adding the EA app as an exception
- Make sure your display is connected to your GPU and not to the motherboard's video output
- Run System File Checker to help verify the integrity of your Windows system files
One player also reported that a connected device was causing the issue for them. They found that unplugging everything except the monitor, mouse, and keyboard helped identify the cause.
