EA App is not showing DLC after redeeming code

EA, I think your EA app is the most terrible service that you have ever forced upon us.

You stated that the EA app is "a faster, more reliable, and more streamlined gaming experience - the best possible place for you to experience EA's incredible games, service and content."

In fact, the EA app has done the complete opposite! I have never experienced so much problems with an app.

As for downloading a new game from a redeemed code is a nightmare. My app tells me that I have an installed game of 'The Sims 4' I put in my code for 'Growing Together' and it tells me, "You need to own the base game to play this add-on" - what?! Then when it's offline the dreaded Error codes 201 and 204 returns.

I find it very strange that the EA app appears to be un-repairable.

Please, if you can't repair the EA app yet, let us have Origin back until the EA app is working. For we have all paid for our games and we should be entitled to play them.

Hi @wiikija6277, I too am beginning to wonder if this will ever get solved.
I've just sent a reply to EA Help via email answering the same questions. I've sent screenshot's as proof and they still have someone different coming on the next message telling me in broken English that they will be assisting me today only to have a different person sending me the next message in broken English.
Either they are trained to annoy, frustrate, ignore or laugh at us I will never know. All I do know is, if they are doing this to get me to give in, they've got another thing coming. I will never give up trying to get the game that I paid for!
I'm really sorry that you too are experiencing difficulty and I've been fighting this for 3 months!! So I hope that you are determined / patient. When it comes to EA / EA Help you are definitely going to have to be both.

Yep got the exact same issue with sime 4 Horse Ranch expansion. It even shows as owned in the game starting menu in the "my packs" tab, but i cant access it in any way

Marvellous isn't it? A year later and I still get no sense from EA, no game, and no help from "EA No-help". Disgusting.
I'll probably post here again next year...
