EA app issue: Many days of failed reinstalls, endless bugs—fix it now!

I'm sorry to hear that you've having problems with the EA app. Are you receiving any specific error message when trying to install the app?

Not sure about this person but I’ve been having the same issue. No error code pops up. When I click on the windows option on their installation website it downloads the ea app installer but doesn’t do anything past that

If you check the folder where the installer was downloaded to, can you run the installer from there?

Yes, the error we see is 0x80070643. This usually indicates an issue with the MSI installation package, which can be caused by a corrupted installer file, conflicts with previous versions, or permission issues. This information is available in the log file.😩

All of this has already been done—when launching from the downloads folder with administrator rights, the installation is interrupted, displaying the error code EA App Error Code INST-14-1603.

This didn’t help either. (If you're on a PC: manually install any missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables from the official Microsoft website and restart your computer.)

Registries and Temp folders have been cleaned. All traces were removed after each installation attempt, both through the command line and other programs… but without success. The antivirus is also not an issue, as it is not installed. 😿

We also tried many suggestions from forums, including creating an EA folder for installation and disabling system protection.

Everything installs fine except for EA App—all other applications and programs install without any issues, including Origin, which is no longer supported. I was hoping to access EA Games through an update from Origin, but that didn’t work either.

So far, all attempts have been unsuccessful. Maybe one day an update will be released that finally fixes this issue.
