EA app issues in 2024 never fixed
1. EA app does not have a play offline option, for games such as Sims, unless you LOG in to the internet to load the EA app, so that the three lines show up to click and select play offline. So, if you have no internet access but have your laptop or computer, your stuck and forgotten. Origin had the play offline option, whether you were connected to the internet or not.
2. When I finally got online again, to load the EA app and select play offline. The game became "PURPOSELY" laggy, as if programmed to act stupidly inept to run the game, when it runs smooth as butter if your online.
3. While offline, a message pops up claiming, I am trying to update EA and please log in to do so. Umm, NO I am in character creation and not doing any sort of update and am OFF LINE on purpose because of this last issue.
4. wireless earbuds connected to my computer to play. Yep, you better believe that they work great when the EA app is OFFLINE. Turn on internet and suddenly, EA can't handle earbuds anymore. I have to minimize the game, disconnect the earbuds and reconnect them several times, to get them to FInally work in game. In this case SIMS4. Oh, internet went out, while I was playing, during a connected playthrough. Earbuds immediately lost all signal and ONLY WITH the EA app. They still worked fine with everything else on my computer, just not this EA app. Go back to Origin or take some of Origin's programming and utilize it.
Whatever Street Monkey bobbing his/her new age groove, did not program this app worth ****. Fix it or dump it.
