Looks like there is something blocking EA app, try adding EA app to your firewall exceptions. Also, try temporarily disabling your anti-virus software and see if that has any effect.

I tried adding the app to my firewall and disabling my anti virus but its still giving me the same message
I am getting the same message on steamdeck.

We don't fully support Steamdeck so there can be issues with using EA App on Steamdeck. @Sagna_The_Great,
@sophie5734 What have you tried and what kind of network setup do you have?

What i do is disable every protection in my antivirus, turn off all of them don't even let a single one is active (I'm using Kaspersky). Just wait a few seconds and try to open the EA app again, now see if it working, I hope it helps
