I can see that you kinda have an odd-looking EA ID, with a lot of random letters and numbers. Is this intended? If not, could you please go to https://profile.ea.com > login with your EA account and see if you can change your EA ID to something more readable? It could be that this is causing these issues for you.
I’ve changed it and the app still isn’t working lovely. It keeps coming up with a crash report.
This is the message that keeps coming up. Has been now for the past couple of days.

You mention that it is a brand new Windows PC, right? So I assume that it came with Windows 11 pre-installed? Yes brand new, I’ve checked for updates and updated it. It’s still not working lovely.
but thank you for all this. It’s an absolute bummer.I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it doesn’t seem to be launching at all. Keeps coming up with the exact same message 🤣. I have called directly to let them know. They didn’t know about anything. So they’re getting in touch with the rest of the team for it. I’ve literally done everything in the book. 🤦♀️

@ghostwhite1997, yeah it is really, really odd. Could you maybe check what the Windows 11 version & build is that you are running? You can check this by pressing the Windows logo button on your keyboard + the R button simultaneously > followed by typing "winver" (without the quotation marks) in the little Run window > and pressing the Enter button.
Yeah of course. It’s windows 11 version 21H2. I think.
I’ve tried to do it all over again. The app is not working at all still. It’s definitely not my PC. As I’ve got into contact with the company I brought it from and it’s worked on others they’ve got. 🤦♀️ They’ve followed the same steps as I did and it worked for them. Just not on my PC.

Hi it just says I gave Microsoft Defender Antivirus and Microsoft firewall.
- EA_Leeuw@ghostwhite1997, okay. Could you try to see if you can manually make an exclusion for the EA app in the Defender and Firewall?
Hi hun, I’ve done that. Added the app/file into exclusions. It still isn’t working yet is trying too. Still keeps crashing.

- EA_Leeuw@ghostwhite1997, could you to download/install the most recent versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable to see if that does the trick?

It's the ARM64. That will not download at all. But the other two were absolutely fine. I do not understand why it will not allow me to download the ARM64.

Still the exact same message. It will not open at all. Lovely. I've honestly tried everything, and it will not load what-so-ever.
- EA_Leeuw@ghostwhite1997, could you try to create a new local Windows 11 Administrator account to see if it works on that Windows account? Then we can exclude some stuff and determine if it is possible that your main Windows PC account is corrupted maybe.

Yeah, I’ve ran through all these steps. I’ve got nothing lovely. It’s still the same message completely. It is not working.

Could you go back to Origin and see if that works for you then?

Origin is now installed the game that I want to play it’s just a white screen everytime it loads. To play.
so at least I can get into origin. But it will not allow me to play The sims or anything.
All it is, is a white loading screen. Nothing else is happening at all. I’ve been trying lovely.
