    Hey all,

    Could you perhaps check if you have any available Windows 7 updates that still need to be installed? We're aware of the End of Support of Windows 7, but perhaps there are still some leftover Windows Updates that could solve the issue.

    Update: this seems to do the trick for some people. Please check if you still have some leftover Windows 7 updates that need to be installed, potentially specifically Windows 7 Update KB4539601.

@shiso2014  Please uninstall the EA App using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and download a fresh copy of the installer.

I have installed it and uninstall ea, it has also scanned for any Leftover files from. I assume that I delete those?

    @shiso2014  Yes, delete all the leftover files that Revo finds unless you recognize something specific you want to preserve.  That's unlikely though—Revo will probably only flag hidden files and folders that don't have any relevant data.

      It's telling me that it could remove any expansion packs within the library of ea. Is that possible?

        @shiso2014  When you uninstall Sims 4 (not the EA App), you also uninstall any DLC you've downloaded.  But your account still owns the content, and you can reinstall it along with the base game.

      I resolved my issue, my computer was still operating on Windows 7 and the EA app no longer supports windows under 8.1. If you're like me and in need of and update I've linked below a youtube video that helped me update my computer to windows 10 for free. Hope this helps!!  🙂

        EA app no longer supports windows under 8.1? ςhere did you see that.Still the ea app page says win 7 compatible.
