EA App refusing to connect to WIFI

I've literally just downloaded the EA app today and been able to successfully download my games back onto my laptop (Mac) my laptop is connected to the WIFI and I've got no connection issues but the app is refusing to connect for some reason, I've done everything I can and nothing is fixing this. Using a hotspot doesn't work either - I have no issues with anything else, the origin app was also refusing to connect or load which is why I downloaded the EA app. SS of error message attached.

Can someone please advise how this could be fixed please?
