I've been trying to open my sims game since yesterday. The app opens to the "Connecting to EA app" screen, a grey box that says "EA" at the top opens, and then it closes and doesn't open the game or the app. When I go into task manager, the EA app opens when those two screens pop up, but closes immediately after that. I took all of the mods out of my game and it still doesn't open. The app just doesn't stay open, so I can't play or update or purchase any games.

Clearing the Cache, restarting, reinstalling did nothing either. I have the same issue, but mine is up too date. However, I can run the app on another User on my PC.
Is there a fix yet?
I figured out the issue, which was that the EA app needed to be updated, but the app wouldn't update itself so I had to do it manually.
