EA app "Simply put, there was an errror"

Summarize your bug When launching the EA app, it says "connecting to the EA app". Then shortly after says "Simply put, there was an error. The background services aren't responding, so we're kicking off the update manually. Stay put while we get the app up and ready for you" Then there is two options to "restart app" or cancel. When pressing "restart app" it goes back to "connecting to the EA app" and stays there for eternity. When pressing cancel you get it opens a consol that says "ea app is already up to date, and then closes after a 5 second timer"

    @lucasnissendk Go into task manager and close the EA App, and the background services. Make sure it is all closed out.

    Then run through the following:

    Delete Windows Temp Files

    • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
    • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete
    • Reboot the PC

    PC Troubleshooting:

    Then, try a Clean Boot
    When you are in this mode, you can either try to launch it as admin, or reinstall the EA App and then change back to the normal Windows account.
