EA app STILL doesn't work - what's going on?!

Summarize your bug I am unable to launch The Sims 4 with the new EA app, and I am not able to use the Origin launcher anymore, because it forces you to download the EA app. Basically I cannot play the game. This has been an issue some months ago too, when I tried to install the EA app, but it wouldn't launch the game, so I went back to Origin, but I can't do that now.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try to launch The Sims 4 from the new EA app.
What happens when the bug occurs? I go to an "error" page, and sometimes it just says the game is "Loading", but it's loading forever.
What do you expect to see? That an EA app game launcher would easily launch a game.
I realize there's a few topics going on this subject already, but I had to add one here, because I find it absolutely crazy that this still hasn't been fixed. Especially now that we can't even use the Origin app until you fix the other app.
The EA app game launcher literally has ONE main job, and that is to launch our games, and now people can't even play their games. I don't know if it's other games than The Sims 4, but I have a sense from browsing around that it is.
In other words: CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THIS, TODAY? This is not a thing to wait around with, this require immediate attention. This has been an issue with the app for months now and it's just not okay. Fix it, please.
