EA App won’t load
I got in touch with an advisor yesterday this is what I told him:
I’m having ongoing issues with the EA app connecting to servers. Sometimes the app opens to the login or home screen and shows an error: ‘couldn’t connect to EA servers.’ Other times, it gets stuck on a blue loading screen and doesn’t reach the login page at all. Here’s what I have already tried:
- Performed a full Windows Reset (keep my files, local reinstall)
- Completely uninstalled the EA app (including with Revo Uninstaller)
- Manually cleared all EA registry entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
- Deleted all EA folders from ProgramData, Program Files, and AppData
- Tested with a new Windows user account
- Freshly installed EA app as administrator
- Ensured both Private and Public firewall access for the app
- Flushed DNS and changed to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
- Restarted router and PC multiple times
- Tried to restart the EA Background Service but couldn’t find it after install
The PC is otherwise new and clean after the reset. The EA app is still inconsistent—sometimes stuck on blue screen, sometimes opens with server error. I need help getting past this so I can use my games library.
They told me they did something on their end and to clear cache then uninstall the ea app wait 20 minutes then reinstall and it worked.
but today I’m once again having the same issues
