“..couldn’t connect to servers…but a quick restart should fix it. restart app”
I keep getting stuck in a cycle of restarting the app and getting the error “we couldn’t connect to servers, we ran into a problem, but a quick restart should fix it. restart app” - but it doesn’t fix anything or allow the app to work. it’s already been like this for about three days. the game also doesn’t work when I try opening it from this window, it doesn’t respond.15Views0likes0CommentsEA "Background servers crashed"
After downloading the most recent update for the EA app my account wouldn't load or let me interact with it at all. In an effort to fix that problem I exited EA and tried re-entering, but then the error message "Background servers crashed" popped up. I have tried repairing the app, uninstalling and reinstalling, allowing it on my viruses/ firewall, cleared cash, restarting my computer, trying to start it directly from the sims, shutting off Wi-Fi, updated computer, etc. None of those have worked and the message still pops up telling me to "update". However, when clicked it says that the EA app is already fully updated. I have been unable to access the app or my game for over two days now, and I do not use any Mods.17Views0likes0CommentsEA app Issues with connectivity and launching games.
I wanted to play star wars battlefront 2 but I can't Because EA servers aren't communicating with my EA app and every hotfix I've tried has led me down a rabbit hole of frustrating 'Maybes' that has me wondering if I needed a degree in networking to even handle a simple Pew Pew Shooter If I have to even touch DNS, IP4, IP6 and then look for even more fixes if that doesn't work? There's an issue, I don't just need help, I need a dedicated IT specialist just to fix my EA app, With that frustration out of the way, The 'Fixes' I've tried are as follows 1. Run Administrator - Failed 2. Adjust Compatibility Settings - Failed 3. Restart EA App - Failed 4. Clear Cache - Failed 5. Restart Computer - Failed 6. Adjust DNS Settings to Google 8888, 4444 and or Open DNS - Failed 7. Switched Wifi's - Failed 8. Switched Public to Private Network - Failed 9 Waiting overnight - Failed 10. Reload Page - Failed 11. Whitelisting sdk.split.io - Failed 12. Repair Mircosoft C++ programs - Failed 13. Communicating with EA Help - Failed 14. Uninstall and Reinstall EA App - Failed 15. Firewall adjustment - Failed 16. Remove Any background applications - Failed 17. Remove EA overlay and Other Overlays (Steam, Nividia, ect) - Failed 18. EA Server check - Passed - But not for me - Failed 19. Wifi router check - Passed - I can use the store and buy whatever I want. (Very Important. Product I can never use) 20. EA support Ticket - Failed 21. Going offline and then Online again both on Wifi and EA app - Failed I'm starting to think EA has it out for me. Either way, I wanted to play this over the past weekend but these were the problems I've been facing even though I am connected to the internet and can use steam, Epic, GOG, or any other launcher without fail. I'm stuck on infinite download for a game I already downloaded and if I restart everything is stuck loading saying that everything is taking longer than usual to load, then just launching the game I'm met with non-coded error.205Views4likes3CommentsStuck verifying The Sims 4
Hi, I am in desperate need of help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried installing the new update and it took forever and then when I went in to play the sims it was stuck on the loading screen loading into my household. It was stuck like that for hours with no sign of improving so I exited the game. I tried repairing the game but the repairing just gets stuck on 75% and then stops. I deleted the EA app and the game and tried a fresh install of both but still to no avail the game won't even open. The game is stuck verifying (I'm on Mac) and it has been for hours. I don't know what to do, the sims is literally my only pleasure in this life someone please help me. I have cleared the cache, restarted my computer, reinstalled MacOS Sequoia, and still no luck. I should mention I have the game stored on a hard drive but I'm unsure if that's why my issue persists. Someone please help me!20Views0likes0CommentsEA App EC:10005 - Reocurring
So, I've had The Sims4 installed for years now, right? I have a Windows10 with 64-bit as an operating system, so that's not an issue. The last few months, EA hasn't been opening or letting me open it. Thus, I cannot play Sims4. Sims was giving me trouble at one point, and so i downloaded it through steam. Now here I am, complaining, as it's constantly giving me "EC:10005 networks not doing network thing. try again". Earlier today, I managed to get the Sims 4 open. I played for a while, then logged off to do Yard Work. When I came back, I tried to log back in, and it gave me this issue again. And before anyone tells me that this is my own Network problem... I have restarted my router, restarted my PC, adjusted the router, and unplugged my house's home phone not just from our router, but also overall. There's only an X-box also using internet at this point, and that's not an issue as it was being played on while I played The Sims 4 earlier. I've tried running ONLY EA, and it still gives me EC:10005. And when I try to just open TS4 from my home screen, it says "preparing game" and then tells me that the servers took too long and were "not doing server things". Any help or advice? - B95Views3likes4Comments
