EA App won't Update

Last night I tried playing the Sims 4 and it would be stuck at 8%. I tried doing app recovery 4 times and it was unsuccessful. I updated my macBook to macOS Sequoia last night and it still wouldn't surpass 8%. 

Please let me know what I should do... :/
