For example, I have my download folder on the E: drive. So I moved the installer from the E: to my desktop on C:, and it works.
Product: EA Desktop

Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Other (Please Describe)
Please describe CAN NOT INSTALL
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Recently
Summarize your bug Basically, tried installing Battlefield 4 via xbox gamepass, took me to EA Desktop, installed and logged in. Game downloaded then failed to launch, reinstalled the game, same issue, then stopped downloading entirely. So, attempted to uninstall EA Desktop to which it wouldn't stating it was still open someplace else. So, found them and shut them down via task manager, then had to go in and manually delete the files for EA Desktop because it apparently didn't show up in my apps and now it doesn't want to reinstall the EA Desktop.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try installing it on Windows 10 then attempt to uninstall. Follow that with directly deleting the files and trying to reinstall. The hell is this issue?
What happens when the bug occurs? Refuses to install EA Desktop, all files to the app are now deleted but it says that it can not find the location for the file.
What do you expect to see? The app actually working, how do you guys screw this up?
Ok, so basic run down, tried installing BF4 via xbox gamepass app on pc. Installed EA Desktop and began installing BF4. BF4 installed then failed to launch so decided to delete BF4 then reinstall it. The app ended up not downloading it at all (stayed in downloading for 3 days) so I uninstalled the EA App then reinstalled it. Attempted to download the game once again after installing EA Desktop and it gave me the same issue. So, tried to uninstall but my pc refused to uninstall it so I had to go in and manually delete the files (later find out via task manager that two programs were running in the background so closed them out). So, no files of the game show up on the pc, won't install at all saying it can't find the file location, and no idea what else to do. New to PC gaming and really, just really EA, how do you screw up a launcher?
