no fix as of yet. App is still broken and has been since mid november. I've been looking forward to playing some of them on my pc as well but guess that isn't happening :/ I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and restarting my pc. Nada has helped. I guess it's just on the programming side of things.
In the mean time, I suggest getting the game pass app for your phone. Android and iOS are supported. They dont have many EA play games on the cloud but there are like 7. Also I've read on other posts that December 15th will be when we can play EA Play games through the xbox app. Much better app than EAs
Can now say that it launches just fine but it does not want to update or install anything. This thing is getting stubborn. lol.

Basically I messed up the whole app because you know that is me and I made it worse by messing around with files. The app wouldn't open. So I had the idea of deleting the crash reporter (CrashReporter.exe and .enc) in the ea desktop file folder, which sounds stupid but now it cant tell the app to shut down so it loads as normal
