This is the fix that I had to apply to many apps, like Sony Vegas or Discord, for years. Not much EA can do against for Shadowplay recognizing them as games, but has to be properly set by Nvidia.
Funny thing is: EA Desktop is already recognized by Nvidia. It has its own profile "EA Desktop".
At some point you already memorize the entry "0x809D5F60" with its value "0x10000000" whenever you see Shadowplay to become active with the wrong software.
Newest Nvidia driver 531.68 finally has it in "Fixed issues". At least according to their changelog "Shadowplay incorrectly getting engaged within EA Play application [4049414]".
I've already set it with Nvidia Profile Inspector but perhaps someone may check, who hasn't yet.

@Xerkrosis, awesome! Cheers for mentioning it here! So it was an Nvidia issue after all... Hmm. Glad that they've figured it out.
Thanks! Will share it here with the team as well.
