EA Desktop App installer breaks Origin's The Sims 4 installation

Summary: The Sims 4 will not recognize any expansion packs anymore, if the game was installed via Origin and new expansion packs were activated and installed via the EA Desktop App. Steps to reprodu...

    The last game update fixed the problem with the DLCs not being found by the game.

    I can now load my game saves again without any error message.

Do you have some of the DLC and Packs through Game Pass @RainbowSpeedy?

Only the Deluxe version stuff (animal hats, tiki bar etc.) is coming through the XBox Game Pass membership.

Any other expansion packs are purchased/redeemed regularly and marked as "owned"/"purchased". @EA_Darko

    Any DLC you have through Game Pass will not work on Origin @RainbowSpeedy. 

    Only packs you own can be used on both the EA App and Origin.

      Thanks for the advice @EA_Darko 

      I would like to play any other of the 15 purchased DLCs tho, as none of them are currently recognized by the game.

        Is that in Origin @RainbowSpeedy where they are not recognised?

        Have you ensured that the Origin account that you are logged into is the same one that you are logged in to on the EA App?
