EA App keeps popping up (PC)

Okay, I know that I can disable it from starting with Windows. The issue is, after I play my games and have to get off, the EA App will pop up randomly the entire time I am using my computer. I don't care if I am in offline mode or online mode. I don't care about the current adds (I mean, I might if I had more Sims money, but not while I busy). I only want the EA app to bother me if I am TRYING to play a game that is managed by that app, or to shop in the app. Do I REALLY have to officially exit the app every time I'm done playing? (I know that sounds so simple, but it's a pain)? Is there any other way to fix this?
