And two years in, STILL the issue is not fixed. EA doesn't care about their customers. This is just more proof.
oh yeah and fun fact, I'm running it through Lutris and although I actually have enough space to install the game in question again without deleting it, the stupid app (probably because of some WINE stupidity) seems to think there's less than 10GB so it won't even go through the motions and attempt to find and verify the files before it downloads them again - which it probably wouldn't even bother to check in the first place because this app is a stupid and thoughtless piece of crap much like EA themselves. And in that, it's PERFECT.
Why y'all wanna be like Steam but not as good? Why does this stupid app exist only to suck as much as it does? Why, EA, WHY? Why can't you go back to being a company that people LOVE instead of HATE??? I guess you don't care as long as you get that dolla dolla from the sports games every year, they're like WDGAF about the users... I miss Trip Hawkins' EA. I don't know WTF THIS is. Some late-stage capitalism BS.
